Kit Kat! YOU ARE AWESOME!
Y U SO CREATIVE?!
=))
kitkatpecson:

This is my portfolio-resume magazine, which I’ve been sending out for internships. (You can download the PDF version of it here.) I wanted to show my true self, so I called it ‘Kitkat and the Unstoppable Dream’ and let loose with my colors and vexels. It also made sense to prove myself as an art director by ‘directing’ my resume and portfolio.

I described my ‘dream’ — to ignite the industry and eventually become a CCO — in my cover letter (I was really inspired by my first internship at BBDO). I wrote the letter in an earnest manner because I think I sound plastic when I write formally. I suppose the placement office would have a fit if they saw my resume, as I obviously rejected Ateneo’s standard format.

One benefit of spreading my resume over a magazine is adjusting the layout for larger fonts and ease-of-reading. Not pictured are my artwork, which you have been seeing on this blog anyway. The back cover has a simple-thank you and directions to this website. I actually had mad fun making this. I hope it helps me snag an internship!

PS: I have never asked for this, but in this case, reblogs are highly appreciated!
